Are you a graduate who wants to become a teacher and needs classroom experience before applying on a PGCE course? Are you an experienced or newly qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a new role local to you in Margate? Do you have an enthusiastic, positive and caring approach? Do you have experience of supporting children on a 1:1 basis across Key Stage 1?

Successful Candidates will:

• Have a team player approach
• Be adaptable and flexible
• Have experience of supporting children of all learning abilities
• Have strong behaviour management and good communication skills
• Provide continued support for the teacher within a chosen classroom
• Carry out one to one and/or small group work with students
• Provide tuition and booster sessions with pupils working at a lower ability or on the Special Educational Needs register

You will:

• Have either a Degree or Masters
• Have experience working with students in some capacity (e.g., Youth Work/ Teaching Assistant/ University Ambassador/ Graduate Tutor, etc.)
• Be passionate about working in a school
• Be ambitious with a strong yet outgoing and warm personality
• Be flexible and adaptable
• Have experience of working in KS1 Classroom Settings
