KS1 Teacher (Full-time, Temporary)

Newcastle Upon Tyne

£600 - £1,258.55 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

September 2025 - July 2025

The School and Role

A Primary School based in Newcastle is seeking to employ a driven Teacher to join their enthusiastic KS1 Team. The successful applicant will have previous experience of working within KS1, be able to confidently deliver Read, Write, Inc Phonics, and provide a nurturing learning environment. This is a full-time role, commencing in September, likely to extend for the full academic year. Both ECTs and experienced teachers are welcomed to apply.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have:

  • Experience of teaching within KS1.
  • Experience of delivering Read, Write, Inc Phonics would be beneficial.
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
  • An excellent understanding of how to support pupils with SEND.
