Inspire and Guide Little Learners – KS1 Teacher Role Available!

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic KS1 teacher to join a supportive and vibrant primary school in Sheffield. Key Stage 1 (KS1) covers the first two years of primary education, including children ages 5 to 7, and is a crucial stage in laying the foundation for their educational journey. If you are ready to inspire young learners, help them grow academically and socially, and create a positive and engaging classroom environment, we would love to hear from you.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
2. Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
3. Assess and monitor the progress of pupils, providing regular feedback.
4. Work closely with other staff to support the social and emotional development of students.
5. Maintain high standards of behaviour management and classroom organisation.
6. Encourage a love of learning and help students develop essential skills for the future.

What We Are Looking For:

1. A Qualified Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
2. Previous experience teaching KS1 pupils (desirable).
3. A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them thrive.
4. Strong communication and organisational skills.
5. Ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment.
6. An Up-to-date CV covering last 10 years with no unexplained gaps and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
