Milk Education are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to support one of our partner schools in Liverpool (L13) for a Year 2 class, on a Long-Term role starting after Easter. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is creative, adaptable and keen to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners.

We would like to encourage nurturing, caring and highly motivated Teachers and ECTs to apply for this exciting role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
2. Support children's emotional and social development, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
3. Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing feedback to both students and parents
4. Collaborate with colleagues to plan, assess and improve teaching and learning
5. Deliver small group Phonics sessions
6. Collaborate with 1:1 TAs in the class supporting children with SEN
7. Participate in school events and contribute to the overall ethos of the school

We are looking for someone who:

1. Holds a valid UK teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
2. Has recent experience (in the last 5 years) teaching or on placement
3. Has a sound understanding of the KS1 curriculum and best teaching practices
4. Demonstrates a passion for working with young children and fostering a love for learning
5. Is an excellent communicator, both with pupils and staff
