Job description

As a Kitchen Porter / Mess Hand at Warrant Officers and Sergeants Mess, RAF Brize Norton, Carterton, you'll be one of the key catering staff; without you, we can't run our kitchens efficiently.

What you'll do:

• Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations
• Work closely with the chefs and larger catering team to ensure the running of kitchen and dining facilities is efficient and smooth
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is used correctly, and report any faults to your line manager
• Assist with deliveries, replenishing stock and its rotation
• Waste disposal in a safe, thorough, timely manner

What you bring:

• Basic food-handling knowledge
• A good sense of personal and environmental safety
• Willingness to learn new skills and gain experience whilst in the role
• No previous work experience required

Package Description
