Kitchen Design Subject Matter Expert

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Designer to join our team as a Kitchen Design Subject Matter Expert (SME). In this role, you will leverage your industry knowledge and design expertise to improve our kitchen design tools and processes. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including our kitchen designer, product, account, and training teams. A key part of this position is guiding clients through the transition to and training on our kitchen design tools, helping them become proficient. This hybrid role offers the chance to shift from traditional design sales to a technology-driven position, contributing to product development and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Become an expert in our proprietary kitchen planner tool
• Document kitchen design best practices and industry standards
• Create training materials and documentation
• Lead training sessions for 3D Cloud designer users
• Gather feedback from industry professionals while training to bring back to the team
• Conduct kitchen design focused demos for prospective clients
• Build and maintain relationships with client stakeholders around training efforts
• Support the product team with evaluation of new kitchen design features

Required Qualifications

• Based in UK, remote
• Certification in Kitchen and Bath Design is a plus but not required
• Confident and comfortable with presenting
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on kitchen design experience
• Proficiency in 2020 Design, Chief Architect, or equivalent kitchen design software
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience working directly with customers and understanding their needs
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Client travel will be required within the UK and on occasion Europe

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at major home improvement retailers
• Background in multiple kitchen design software platforms
• Existing network within the kitchen design industry
• Experience in user testing or product feedback processes
• Knowledge of both framed and frameless cabinetry
