Kitchen & Bar Manager - Golf Club
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

A well-established golf club in Colchester is seeking a hands-on, experienced Kitchen & Bar Manager to lead its front and back-of-house operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a sociable, daytime hospitality setting with a loyal membership base and regular event bookings.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Overseeing the day-to-day running of the kitchen and bar areas
  2. Managing and training a small team, ensuring high standards of service and presentation
  3. Taking responsibility for stock ordering, rota planning, and health & safety compliance
  4. Preparing short-order food and supporting with light cooking during busy periods
  5. Delivering excellent customer service to members, visitors, and event guests
  6. Assisting with functions and society days, including food and drink planning
What We're Looking For:
  1. Previous experience in a similar kitchen, bar or hospitality management role
  2. A confident, approachable leader who leads by example
  3. Strong organisational skills with a good understanding of stock control and compliance
  4. Flexible, hands-on, and happy to get involved in both front and back of house
  5. A passion for delivering a great food and drink experience in a relaxed setting
