We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team on a Bank basis.

What does the role involve?

Assist, as directed, with the preparation of produce for meal time service, including cooking breakfast items, vegetable preparation, and making sandwiches.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment and areas are cleaned according to the cleaning schedules, demonstrating organizational skills.
Adhere to statutory and Company Health and Safety Regulations.
Ensure correct storage of all dry and perishable cook chill goods as soon as possible after receipt and checking.
Ensure the correct, safe storage of cleaning materials.
Thoroughly clean all crockery, cutlery, and drinking vessels for resident use using the main kitchen dish washing machine.
Clean all pots, pans, cooking utensils, and service counter containers to the required standards and correctly store after cleaning.
