Job Title: Year 3 and Year 4 Teacher
Location: Birmingham
Start Date: After Easter
Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)

Monarch Education is seeking an enthusiastic Year 3 and Year 4 Teacher for a full-time role in a supportive primary school in Central Birmingham, starting after Easter. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

You will be responsible for full teacher duties, including lesson planning, delivery, and assessing student progress across Year 3 and Year 4. This role offers the chance to work with a committed team of educators and support students in their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons based on the national curriculum for Year 3 and Year 4.
  • Assess and monitor children's academic progress, providing regular feedback to pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive, productive learning environment.
  • Provide differentiated learning activities to cater to the individual needs of students.
  • Take full responsibility for lesson planning, marking, and other teaching-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective teaching strategies and the sharing of best practices.
  • Engage in parent meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all students in your care, following school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Year 3 and Year 4, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Ability to differentiate teaching to meet the individual needs of students.
  • A passionate and creative approach to teaching, with the drive to support children's academic and personal development.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to the welfare and safeguarding of children.
