Qualifications:

Enhanced DBS on Update Service

Job Duties:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 and 2 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress to ensure educational objectives are met
  • Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to create a positive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress and behaviour
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Key Stage 1 and 2

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students
Working Conditions:

This role will involve working in a school setting during term time, following the school calendar and timetable. Some additional hours may be required for planning and assessment.
