Key Account Manager - Road Freight

Location: Bristol, UK

Salary: up to £40,000 (DOE) + 10% Commission

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am-5:30pm

Are you a results driven Freight Account Manager, looking for a new role in Bristol? This role could be right for you.

My client is offering a fantastic package to help grow their business and Freight Forwarding sector. The right candidate will be an experienced and fully established sales-person who has worked previously for a UK based Freight Forwarder, with knowledge and experience with Road Freight Operations.

Experienced Freight Forwarders who are looking to take the next step in their career into a position in sales are encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent freight forwarding services.
  2. To generate and follow up sales leads to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
  3. Manage the day-to-day Road Freight Forwarding operations, start-to-finish.
  4. Raising Job files and all of the appropriate operations paperwork.
  5. Supplier and client liaison and negotiation.

Requirements:
  1. Freight Forwarding Sales and Account Management Experience.
  2. Experience working for a freight forwarding company.
  3. Experience with Freight Forwarding Operations.
  4. Ability to bring business would be advantageous.
