Job Description:

We are further expanding our field team within the obesity and cardiovascular space and are looking for talented Key Account Managers (KAMs) who are ready to make a positive impact within a variety of locations. The Position

This is a promotional role accountable for the commercial performance and positioning of NN medicines through securing local patient access and sales. You will identify key decision-makers, establish win-win relationships, analyse strategic business challenges and prioritise opportunities that enable our ambitions. You will be responsible for covering the areas of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Bedfordshire, Luton, Milton Keynes, Hertfordshire, and West Essex. We require the candidate to be based in one of these specified locations.

Your tasks include:
  1. Leading the development and implementation of short- and medium-term strategies and business plans for your area and accounts to contribute to the national business plan and ensure overall business objectives are achieved.
  2. Identify and cultivate new strategic opportunities and achieve commercial targets which contribute to regional and national goals.
  3. Ensure local patient access and care pathway remodelling to support system efficiencies and improved patient outcomes.
  4. Support local health economies to incorporate our portfolio via profiling and selection, opportunity mapping/validation, account prioritisation, engagement with key stakeholders, successfully implement change, demonstrate improved outcomes.
  5. Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements, the Novo Nordisk Way and Novo Nordisk policies, quality standards and guidelines.
  6. Abide by the requirements of the ABPI Code of Practice - including but not restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct in line with the Company procedure with a duty of care to the reputation of the Company.
  7. Uphold NN commitment to highest standards of business ethics and compliance (internal and ABPI) personally and through the team, with external and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications

Successful candidates will need to meet the following requirements:

  1. Several years of KAM experience in pharma with proven experience of working within a target driven environment.
  2. Previous cardiovascular experience, including strong local insight and connections is highly desirable.
  3. A strong knowledge and understanding of the NHS system, including structure, policies, funding streams and processes with experience of launching products into the NHS.
  4. A team player with a positive and proactive attitude and someone who thrives on taking responsibility and accountability.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues, specialist HCPs and key decision makers leading to mutually successful outcomes.
  6. ABPI qualified and compliance focused, with a background in science, business-related subject, or equivalent.

This is a field-based role where we would normally expect regular travel within your territory. Candidates will be expected to travel and stay overnight away from home from time to time.
