What you’ll be doing:
- This is a key account management role looking after around 20 accounts and focusing on repeat consumables business and expanding the use of the product portfolio with current customers, in the area of external temporary pacing, interventional radiology, and non-invasive cardiac monitoring systems and associated consumables.
- You will identify, build rapport with and manage key decision makers and opinion leaders, develop and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- The focus of this role is to speak to Finance, Procurement, Supplies and purchasing personnel in order to find out their pain points and objectives and then agree terms with them and then roll this out to clinicians such as Consultants, Nurses and Radiologists in Theatres, Cath Labs, Radiology, Cardiology, Vascular departments.
Here’s what you need:
- You will have a proven track record managing and growing accounts, preferably with NHS experience and having dealt with Procurement. You should be organised and know your way around the NHS and can show progression in your previous roles.
- Any relevant cardiology/similar market knowledge would be ideal, as would any prior experience of working with NHS supplies and logistics, local and regional hospital supplies and independent wholesalers or the compilation of tenders and contracts.
Basic Salary: to £45,000
Bonus: OTE bonus of £30k (uncapped) rising proportionately with the percentage overachievement.
Car policy: £630 monthly car allowance.
