Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our team, specialising in water treatment solutions for clients within breweries, food manufacturing, and other highly regulated industries. This role will involve managing and developing key client relationships, ensuring service excellence, and driving business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in water treatment and a proven ability to manage strategic accounts. Knowledge of cooling towers, boilers, and industrial water treatment processes is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop key client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales within breweries, food manufacturing, and highly regulated sectors.
  • Provide technical guidance on water treatment processes, including cooling towers and boilers.
  • Work closely with engineering, sales, and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company quality standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in key account management, preferably within the chemical or water treatment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial water treatment processes, including boilers and cooling towers.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Willingness to travel within Edinburgh and the Central Belt of Scotland.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
