Key Account Executive

Northwest England

Hours: working Monday to Friday

Competitive salary with bonus structure

6-month Contract, with Potential extensions of up to a year

As a Key Account Executive, you will play an essential role in managing and developing partnerships with pharmaceutical, medical device, and healthcare manufacturers and supporting distribution requirements for key bodies like the NHS and DHSC. In this field-based role you’ll handle day-to-day client queries, actively participate in tenders and implementations, and deliver on the PHOENIX proposition.

The heart of the role

  • Manage Core Accounts: Act as the central interface for PHOENIX's core traditional wholesale clients, building and developing relationships with existing accounts and supporting new client accounts.
  • Client Retention and Growth: Implement strategies to retain existing business, grow revenue opportunities, and transition clients from traditional to reduced wholesale, driving the profitable growth of PHOENIX.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with internal teams and stakeholders to meet client needs and achieve growth goals, in addition to cross-functional projects and account implementations.

What makes you tick

  • Friendly and personable, able to adapt communication style to fit a variety of key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and interested in continuous development.
  • Good commercial judgment, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Prior experience with client management.
  • Full UK Driving Licence required due to national travel requirements.
