Junior UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior UX Designer to join our growing design team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the entire product lifecycle, from research and concept development to prototyping and user testing. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create user-centered digital experiences that are both functional and delightful.

Key Responsibilities

1. Create user personas, journey maps, and other user-centered design artifacts.
2. Generate wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.
3. Participate in design critiques and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
4. Stay up-to-date on the latest UX/UI design trends and best practices.
5. Contribute to the improvement of our design system and processes.

Qualifications

1. 1-2 years of professional experience as a UX Designer (or equivalent).
2. Strong understanding of UX principles and methodologies.
3. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD (or similar).
4. Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
5. Portfolio demonstrating strong design skills and a user-centered approach.
6. Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field (preferred).

Bonus Points

1. Experience with design systems and component libraries.
2. Experience with data analysis and visualization.
