Junior UI Graphic Designer

Location: Ashford - Hybrid

Salary: £25k

Have you recently completed a degree in graphic or digital design? Do you enjoy creating clean, user-friendly interfaces and engaging visual content? Looking to grow your career in a fast-moving digital product environment?

We are working with a leading digital solutions company who are looking to add a Junior UI Graphic Designer to their creative team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the start of their design career to work on a range of digital products used by clients worldwide.

What You Will Be Doing:

1. Assisting in the design and refinement of user interfaces for digital platforms (web, mobile, app)
2. Creating assets, mock-ups, and prototypes using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
3. Designing icons, UI elements, and visual components in line with branding and usability guidelines
4. Supporting the marketing and content teams with visuals for presentations, campaigns, and product documentation
5. Collaborating with developers and product managers to ensure design consistency and high-quality user experience

What You Will Bring:

1. A portfolio showcasing your design work, particularly in UI or digital design (uni projects welcome!)
2. A degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or similar - or up to one year's industry experience
3. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and UI design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.)
4. A good understanding of layout, colour, typography, and responsive design principles
5. Eagerness to learn and collaborate with both creative and technical teams
6. Bonus if you have any exposure to HTML/CSS or motion/interactive design
