Junior Technical Sales Engineer Position Overview

1. An office role within the commercial department primarily to maintain and improve account management with technical and commercial support to new and existing customers.
2. Interpreting customer's requirements via technical drawings and customer communication to create and provide quotations.
3. Liaising with customers to achieve the order.
4. Processing of customer's orders and preparation of internal work instructions for manufacture.
5. Coordination with internal departments in the factory regarding manufacturing processes to achieve customer requirements.
6. Troubleshooting and manufacturing support.

Junior Technical Sales Engineer Position Requirements

1. Good verbal/written communication skills.
2. Have a level of technical understanding, not necessarily within the sheet metal or engineering industry, but with the ability, correct attitude, and willingness to learn.
3. Ability to discuss technical and aesthetic requirements with the company's customers.
4. Candidates who have completed a technical (engineering-related) apprenticeship or engineering course or worked in a technical 'hands-on' role would be ideal, but not essential.
5. Commercial experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
6. Be highly organised and able to respond in a timely and effective manner.

Junior Technical Sales Engineer Position Remuneration

1. Salary - £24,000 to £29,000 - dependent upon skill, qualifications and experience.
2. Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Office based.
3. 21 days holiday package + the 8 bank holidays on top.
