About: Parkside Recruitment are seeking a Junior Supply Chain Systems Engineer to support the optimisation of logistics operations and systems. You will assist with the implementation and maintenance of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and use 3D modelling software to improve logistics processes.

The ideal candidate will be based in the UK, with the ability to travel to client sites using their own transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and optimising logistics and warehouse systems.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Use 3D modelling software (e.g., Sketchup, Blender) to improve logistics processes.
• Conduct data analysis and create reports to support supply chain decisions.
• Collaborate with IT teams for seamless WMS integration and troubleshooting.
• Travel to client sites when needed for system support and assessment.

Key Requirements:

1. WMS Experience: Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), such as Manhattan or other platforms. Please specify which WMS you have used.
2. 3D Modelling Experience: Proficiency in 3D modelling software like Sketchup, Class, Blender, or Emulate 3D.
3. Driving License: A clean driving license and your own transport (car) are mandatory. The role involves traveling to different client sites, and fuel expenses will be reimbursed based on corporate mileage rates.
4. SQL / Python: Experience with SQL and/or Python is desirable but not mandatory.
5. Language Skills: Additional language skills such as German, Dutch, or Japanese would be a bonus.

Location: Ideal candidates should be located within a commutable distance of the following areas:

• Wiltshire
• Surrey
• East Midlands

Applicants must have the ability to drive and own a car for site visits, as many client locations are not accessible by public transport.
