Role Overview

This growing business requires a Junior Software Engineer to join their growing software team. The primary focus of this role will be supporting the existing Software Engineer by taking on the maintenance and improvement of their existing suite of tools that are used both internally within the business and by their customers and channel partners. These tools interface to the various eCommerce platforms in use and enable the configuration and selection of products prior to sale and manufacture.

Junior Software Engineer Candidate Requirements and Experience

Requirements

  1. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
  2. Experience and knowledge of C# and Winforms
  3. Experience of HTML and Web development

Desirable Requirements

  1. Knowledge of SQL databases
  2. Awareness of Scrum, Azure DevOps
  3. Experience of version control (Git / Team Foundation Version Control)

Junior Software Engineer Key Responsibilities

  1. The Junior Software Engineer will maintain existing software-based customer tools.
  2. Develop, test, and release enhancements to existing customer tools.
  3. Whilst the role will primarily focus on customer tools, it will include opportunities to be involved with other projects.
  4. Assisting the technical support team with customer queries.
