Junior Software Engineer

As a Junior Software Engineer within our critical Capital Markets department, you'll play a pivotal role in the entire software development lifecycle. Design, code, and test applications with a focus on adherence to standards, providing estimates for routine tasks, and troubleshooting defects. Develop a deep understanding of user requirements and product functionalities while fostering effective communication through documentation.

You will collaborate seamlessly within a high-performing team, actively contributing to meetings and continuous improvement initiatives. Role Responsibilities:

As a Junior Software Engineer, you will contribute across the entire software development lifecycle:

Development and Testing:

• Design, code, test, and install applications, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Provide estimates for routine tasks and troubleshoot defects.
• Build unit tests to maintain code quality.

Product Knowledge and Communication:

• Understand user requirements and product functionalities.
• Develop expertise in relevant application modules.

Experience Required:

• Qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Developed skills in one or more of the major programming languages relevant to the role: Java, SQL, XML.
