Wise Employment is looking for a Junior Developer to join a large fast-growing company based here in Plymouth. This is a fantastic temporary to permanent opportunity that offers a competitive salary along with some great benefits. This role is Monday – Friday 8:45am – 5:30pm.

As a Junior Developer, your day-to-day tasks will include supporting as well as developing ‘in-house’ products. You will be contacting users to diagnose and fix any faults in the systems and working alongside the team to help with the lifecycle of the software.

In order to be a successful applicant for the Junior Developer position, you must:

• Have previous experience dealing with: ASP.NET, C#, HTML
• Understand the practical application of agile development methods
• Have an understanding of CSS
• Have exposure to databases such as T-SQL, PL/SQL, or MySQL
• Have an understanding of Git or equivalent source control
• Have proven software development experience or be an IT graduate
• Possess teamwork abilities
• Have a willingness to learn on the job
• Able to manage and prioritize more than one project at once
