Junior Small Works Manager

Our clients based close to Waterlooville have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Small Works Manager to join their growing team. They are keen to find someone enthusiastic who is eager to grow with their business!

You will take part in a training programme and eventually be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, safety, and quality standards.

Project Coordination & Management

1. Plan, oversee, and manage construction projects ensuring efficiency, budget adherence, and timely completion.
2. Allocate resources, materials, and workforce effectively.
3. Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
4. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
5. Provide technical guidance and hands-on support during project execution.

Client Interaction & Communication

1. Act as the primary contact for clients, addressing queries and concerns.
2. Maintain strong client relationships, reinforcing the company's reputation.
3. Provide regular project updates and documentation.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

1. Monitor project quality, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
2. Conduct final inspections and ensure customer satisfaction.

Reporting & Documentation

1. Maintain accurate records of job progress, completed tasks, and issues encountered.
2. Utilize digital reporting tools to provide daily updates to management.

Skills & Experience:

1. Experience working on a construction site would be ideal.
2. Keen to develop and progress with a growing business.
3. NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or 4 in Roofing, Construction, or Maintenance.
4. CSCS Card, Working at Heights, Asbestos Awareness, and First Aid training preferred.
