In the Large Networks, we carry out energy transportation projects, specifically linear works of electrical transmission (high voltage lines). We work on complete EPC projects: we bid and offer, manage material procurement, etc., and oversee the entire construction process.

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Junior Purchasing Technicians (2 pax) to join our team in the United Kingdom, based in Glasgow. The ideal candidate, in coordination with the Project Manager, will be responsible for managing procurement activities, from budget preparation to supplier selection and negotiation, ensuring optimal quality, timelines, and costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and management of procurement activities in the purchasing area.
  • Preparation and monitoring of budgets.
  • Management, negotiation, and development of suppliers, implementing improvement plans.
  • Selection of suppliers according to project needs.
  • Technical and contractual verification of information provided by suppliers.
  • Supplier visits and follow-up.
  • Order tracking and issue resolution.
  • Administrative support in the different phases of purchasing.
  • Review of purchase requests and monitoring of order execution.

Requirements:

  • Technical Engineering or vocational training in Electricity/Industria.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project planning and organization.
  • C1 level of English (certifications will be valued).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
  • Dynamic, proactive person with the ability to work in a team.
  • Availability to reside in Glasgow and travel.
