Description

Our client is a leading player within the asset management industry. Due to a period of change and transformation, the business is now looking to recruit a Junior Project Manager on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Head of Change and working closely alongside the Change Manager, the Junior Project Manager will support in managing projects from start to finish.

The Junior Project Manager will be based within Operations & Change Management but will interact with other departments including Front Office.

The Junior Project Manager will work on projects across the business, including:

• Strategic projects
• Operational change projects
• Regulatory projects
• Operational efficiency and automation projects

The Junior Project Manager will have worked on key projects within Operations. They will also meet the following skillset:

• Experience within the asset management industry is essential
• Proven experience in project management or working on projects within an Operations role (such as Middle Office Analyst, Trade Support, Transitions or Operations Analyst) in an asset management house
• Experience within Operations in a buy-side house, but has also had interaction with other teams such as Front Office or Product
• Experience in an environment that has gone through change and transformation
• IMC or IOC holder
• Previous use of Charles River is desirable

This is a hands-on role which sits in the thick of a number of exciting projects within a prestigious investment management house.
