Project Manager (Construction/Property Focus)
Location: Manchester, Spinningfields - Sites across Central Manchester
Contract: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract (Potential for Extension)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our clients team as a Project Manager for a busy six-month period. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for design and construction, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the administrative aspects of project management.
This role will involve supporting the team with a variety of tasks, essentially acting as the backbone of the project administration. If you are someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day running of projects and has a keen eye for detail, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to project managers.
- Accurately record and distribute meeting minutes.
- Prepare, format, and distribute project reports.
- Conduct site visits and produce detailed site reports.
- Manage and process change control documentation.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Assist with general office administration tasks.
Skills and Experience:
- Ideally 2+ years of project coordination or similar experience (less experience considered for the right candidate).
- Strong interest in the property and/or construction industry.
- Relevant degree in a related field (e.g., Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering) is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A "smart", adaptable, and proactive approach.
Working Arrangements:
- Based in our clients Manchester office (Spinningfields) with site visits throughout central Manchester.
- Hybrid working: 4 days in the office, with the option to work from home on Mondays or Fridays. Flexibility to work 3 days in office on occasion.
