What Your Days Will Look Like
As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering successful transformation initiatives that align with our clients’ strategic objectives, supported by Senior members of the team. Working across projects, programmes, and portfolios, you will drive impactful change, ensuring seamless execution while embedding a transformation mindset within organisations. You will be responsible for defining project scopes, managing risk, and aligning stakeholders, ensuring that every initiative delivers measurable value.
- Project Execution: Work directly with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure effective project delivery.
- Requirements & Business Case Development: Support in scoping high-level project requirements and preparing business cases.
- Project Planning & Financial / Budget Management: Develop and maintain project planning documentation, including Project Plans, Milestone Plans, Plan on a Page and support in the management of project budgets and financials according to contractual agreements.
- Reporting & Documentation: Provide input into Project Reports, including Highlight Reports and Working Group Packs.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, maintaining the RAID log and ensuring timely mitigation and escalation.
This Role Is For You If You Have
- Previous Project/Programme Management or Assistant Project/Programme Management experience, covering the entire lifecycle.
- Ability to apply a logical, solution-based, and analytical approach to work.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a proven track record of relationship development.
- Confidence to engage on both the how and the why, with the ability to challenge constructively.
- Excellent project planning skills, with experience using project management tools such as MS-Project.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of MS Office, with high proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Professional certifications (PRINCE2, APMP, PMP, Agile, Scrum) are beneficial but not essential.
- Fundamental understanding of Generative AI and a strong enthusiasm for continuous learning and upskilling in this area.
