We are looking for professionals with experience within Financial Services / Investment Banking to join our team in Belfast and work with our Tier 1 Investment Banking clients as a Junior PMO Analyst.

Responsibilities

While the scope of each project may be different, your duties & responsibilities may include:

  • Support Senior Transformation leads and Project Managers with overall projects.
  • Track all project-related documentation, ensuring they are organized and up-to-date.
  • Schedule meetings and take detailed minutes to capture key points, decisions, and action items.
  • Assist in submitting updates and reports to meet regulatory and internal reporting standards.
  • Coordinate project activities, ensuring they are executed efficiently.
  • Maintain project plans, status reports, and RAID logs to track and address potential challenges.
  • Participate in issue identification and resolution, identifying and resolving risks.
  • Monitor and manage dependencies between different project tasks and activities.
  • Plan and facilitate working group meetings with various stakeholders to discuss progress and address any issues.
  • Maintain reports on daily UAT test results.
  • Track key KPIs on execution and pass rates.
  • Monitor trade inventory bookings.
  • Build strong relationships to support the execution of projects/programs.

Qualifications

  • Strong educational background - Degree (Masters would be an advantage).
  • 1-3 years' experience working in a similar role in Investment Banking, either directly or via a third party providing consulting services.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, highlighting knock-on impacts of change.
  • Demonstrable experience of daily management and tracking of technical deliveries.
  • Sound knowledge of Financial Markets / Financial Services.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to track and prioritize multiple deliverables at once.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills.
  • Self-starting with ability to multitask, prioritize and proactively seek out teams and individuals to help resolve issues as they arise.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (MS Project is a plus).
