About Us

David Sheard Ltd is a growing construction and refurbishment company specializing in residential and commercial projects. We are looking for a Junior Project Administrator to provide essential office, project, and PA support to our director and team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, organized individual looking to develop administrative and project coordination skills in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  1. Office & Administration Support
    Act as the first point of contact for emails, phone calls, and post.
    Maintain office supplies and ensure a tidy, organized workspace.
    Assist with general administrative tasks to support the day-to-day running of the office.
  2. Project Coordination Assistance
    Help maintain and update project files, schedules, and key deadlines.
    Support in preparing project documentation, including Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS).
    Assist in coordinating communication between team members, suppliers, and contractors.
  3. Personal Assistant Duties
    Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel for the director and construction team.
    Help track and maintain up-to-date business policies, insurance, and certifications.
  4. Basic Finance & Accounts Support
    Assist with invoicing and tracking payments under the guidance of the bookkeeper.
    Help ensure financial records remain up to date.

Who We're Looking For

  1. 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role (construction experience is a plus, but not required).
  2. Strong organization, communication, and time management skills.
  3. Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Gmail, and Google Drive.
  4. A proactive, detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn.
  5. Ability to work independently while supporting a busy team.
  6. Knowledge of QuickBooks, Squarespace, or social media for business is a bonus but not essential.
