As one of the world's most creative and technologically advanced organisations for the last 100 years, an apprenticeship at the BBC means the opportunity to learn from the most respected and experienced professionals in the business.

Are you a natural organiser? Do you like the sound of sending film crews on location, helping to set up studios, or scheduling staff for programmes? If you have a passion for working in the media industry but are unsure where to start, consider the Junior Production Coordinator Apprenticeship. This opportunity allows you to use your problem-solving skills to contribute to delivering world-class content to audiences worldwide.

You don't need any experience in the media industry or a CV full of academic qualifications. As long as you're over 18 when the apprenticeship starts and have a passion for production management, this could be your next step towards an exciting career at one of the most creative broadcasting organisations in the world.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

What will you be doing on the apprenticeship?

As a Junior Production Coordinator Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in content creation, from concept to reaching the audience. You will learn skills such as preparing for shoots, coordinating transport, booking kits and crews, issuing call sheets, managing budgets, and coordinating staff training. You'll also help on the studio floor and ensure that everyone gets paid, all while learning best practices from expert BBC production management teams.

What will you be studying?

You'll study for your industry-recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning both on the job and off with our education provider. The academic study involves attending workshops, tutorial sessions, and group work. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will gather a portfolio of evidence and work towards a level 4 apprenticeship qualification.

Where could the role take you?

On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will be able to apply for roles such as Production Management Assistant, Production Secretary, or Production Coordinator.
