Junior Product Manager - Kitchens

We're looking for a Junior Product Manager to join our Kitchens team! You'll work with the Senior Product Manager and be responsible for the end-to-end product development life cycle of our kitchen furniture products utilising a wide variety of input. This includes market research, data analysis, and customer research.

What you'll be doing:

1. Developing new and innovative kitchen products through insights from market research and buying behaviour.
2. Bringing to market all aspects of kitchen-related products including furniture, storage solutions, handles, and lighting.
3. Defining the key features, specifications, and requirements of the product based on customer preferences.
4. Creating product strategy documents that describe business cases, revenue, and ROI.
5. Assisting with product launches and marketing material.
6. Producing online content to create the best buying experience for customers.
7. Creating design specifications and signing off in-store display propositions.
8. Assisting in the creation of set design, ordering, and implementation for media advertising and internal exhibitions.
9. Conducting competitor research and pricing analysis to learn more about our customer's needs.
10. Creating project timelines and implementation schedules.
11. Working closely with existing suppliers as well as helping to identify new potential suppliers.

What we're looking for:

You'll have proven experience in product management and knowledge of the product development life cycle. You'll have experience in understanding consumer needs and the retail environment and the ability to spot gaps in consumer product offerings and the drive and enthusiasm to fulfil them. A commercial mindset and a sound understanding of marketing and sales principles is a key element to the role. Experience in the kitchen industry and kitchen manufacturing would be preferable but not essential. As well as this you'll have:

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to create product development and marketing strategies.
2. Good project management skills.
3. The ability to analyse complex data to identify market trends and customer behaviour.
4. GCSE Maths and English or equivalent is required and a Degree level of education is preferred.
5. Driving licence required for supplier and exhibition visits.
