An opportunity has arisen for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Product Designer to join the Brand Addition Design team in London. Our talented design team works on a diverse range of bespoke products including point-of-sale, gift with purchase products, and retail packaging for our portfolio of clients. The role will support projects for accounts like Jameson, Absolut, Malibu, and Nespresso. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop skills in a supportive and innovative environment. You will have a chance to learn and work alongside a skilled team from various backgrounds, including Graphic Designers, Packaging Designers, Bag Designers, and Product Designers. This is an entry-level position in our team with lots of opportunity to grow and progress beyond this role and is well suited to those who are motivated and ambitious.

The Role

• Support the design team with research, product design, and other daily activities.
• Use design skills to work on a wide range of bespoke products including drinks accessories, clothing, home accessories, and packaging.
• Create realistic product mock-ups and in-situ visuals for client presentations.
• Learn and develop skills to create print-ready artwork files for products and packaging.
• Learn and support the team with product photography.

Skills

• Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and 3D modelling, preferably Rhino.
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign is also beneficial.
• Actively seek to practice and develop core technical skills.
• Confident in expressing, sharing, and presenting ideas.
• Able to work as part of a team while learning and completing daily tasks.
• Able to show flexibility, good time management, and organisational skills.
• Able to take in feedback and incorporate it into design work.
• Interest in photography studio.
• Some awareness of materials and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Enthusiastic and keen to learn and engage in several different areas of design.
• A relevant design degree such as product design or industrial design.
• Experience using Photoshop and a 3D modelling software.
• A diverse and creative design portfolio.
