We are looking for a Junior Portfolio Analyst to join the Frontier team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a fully homebased role but there will be a requirement to attend sites when needed.

This is a great starting place for someone who would like to start their career in Technology. As a Junior Portfolio Analyst, you will be working on a diverse variety of tasks within the Portfolio Team supporting the Senior Portfolio Analyst where we are continuously reviewing the optimisation of our Portfolio performance. You will be the gatekeeper to the demand process and will be responsible for taking new demand requests through the demand process where you will need to understand the requirements being asked, engaging with stakeholders and gathering further information where required before presenting to the Technology Leadership Team in the weekly review meetings.

Your Role

As a Junior Portfolio Analyst your role will involve:

  • Arranging stakeholder diary invites for Portfolio meetings
  • Governing new demands into the Technology Department through the demand process via the Portfolio team
  • Liaising and seeking clarity on new demand requirements assuring everything is captured and considered
  • Challenging the value and benefit of the new demand
  • Validating new demand against business priorities, objectives, risks, costs, work estimates etc
  • Recommending the appropriate course of action for individual new demand requests
  • Attaining sign off of new demands from the Technology Leadership Team before handing them over to the relevant delivery team
  • Liaising with delivery leads to support them in co-ordinating the progression of demands
  • Maintaining Portfolio documentation, making sure meeting notes and actions are captured correctly
  • Sending out of regular communication updates to stakeholders to keep them informed
  • Supporting the tracking and reporting of in-flight initiatives and demands being processed by delivery teams
  • Supporting the facilitation of the quarterly team planning event
