Junior Plumber for Heat Pumps - Overview

We are working with a small but rapidly growing Heat Pump company based in South East London who are looking for a Domestic Plumber to join them on a Sub-Contract basis. They will give you full extensive training on installing and commissioning Air Source Heat Pumps in domestic properties and you will work under a Lead Engineer with the goal being to get you up to Lead Engineer level as well in a short time, increasing your wages as you go.

You will work in a 2-3 man team installing Air Source Heat Pumps in domestic properties throughout the local area. Day to day you'll be installing the heat pumps from a range of Manufacturers such as Vaillant, Samsung, Stiebel Eltron and others as well as cylinders and other associated systems. You will be teamed up with existing Engineers to fully train on heat pumps and allow you to get to grips with the system before starting out with a team of your own. The business has been running for 18 months but they have a huge pipeline of work, both on retrofit installations and new build sites. As they grow, they will look to offer options of remaining sub-contract or joining them on a permanent basis.

They will give you full training on Heat Pumps and can train you to become a Senior Engineer, increasing your rate at each step of the process.

Junior Plumber for Heat Pumps - Requirements

1. Own Van & Hand Tools
2. NVQ level 1 or 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
3. Experience on domestic plumbing works
4. G3 Unvented Ticket & WRAS - Water Regulations (Advantageous)

Junior Plumber for Heat Pumps - Remuneration

1. Day Rate of £140 - £180 Per Day
2. All Fuel & Expenses paid
3. Specialist tools, PPE, Uniform etc provided
