Have you got A levels, HNC or HND or equivalent in a scientific / engineering discipline? Maths and Physics would be particularly beneficial. Are you looking for a role with a structured career path and great prospects? If so, my client would like to hear from you.

My client is a specialist technical consultancy and is looking for someone to join an analytical team. Key qualities required for the role will be:

1. A good level of academic achievement in Maths, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or similar.
2. A keen eye for detail.
3. Ability to continue to learn and develop new skills.
4. 12 months+ experience in a lab-based environment (which could be a sandwich placement).
5. A desire to develop your career in materials analysis.

This is a hands-on role within a large lab environment conducting tests on sometimes heavy items, so the ability to lift 25kg+ is necessary in order to be able to perform the role. This company promotes from within - they like to take people on at this level with the right academic aptitude, teach them the role, and then promote them to refill at this level, so prospects are genuinely excellent.
