Job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team, providing essential support to our operational services in meeting both national and local performance targets. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the development and delivery of robust reporting processes, ensuring the accurate and timely submission of data to meet service contract requirements and support informed decision-making.

You will act as a vital link between Clinicians, Administrative teams, Training, and the Performance team--facilitating effective communication and collaboration across services. Your role will be central to promoting continuous improvement, identifying areas for development, and helping to drive service excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, values attention to detail, and is passionate about supporting teams to achieve their goals.

Main duties of the job

  1. Monitor patient waiting times for both outpatient and community services, as well as assessment-to-treatment timeframes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  2. Develop and implement robust reporting procedures by establishing distribution lists and reporting schedules to guarantee the timely dissemination of both routine and ad hoc reports.
  3. Collect, input, and maintain data in electronic systems, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date. Identify opportunities to streamline data collection processes by transitioning to electronic systems wherever possible.
  4. Access and retrieve data from a wide range of sources--including local electronic and paper-based systems, the internet, and external organisations to support analysis and reporting needs.
  5. Monitor, track, and report on data quality issues, offering practical advice on resolving problems and promoting good data management practices across teams.
  6. Engage with the Performance Team, Service Managers, Administrators, and Secretarial staff to review and improve information recording practices, proactively recommending and implementing changes.
  7. Partner with both administrative and clinical professionals to promote awareness and understanding of data quality, ensuring information is reviewed at the point of entry to support accurate reporting and informed decision-making.
  8. Maintain flexibility to meet the evolving demands of the service and respond to requests from customers in a timely and professional manner.
