A leading privately owned contractor based in the south coast is seeking a Junior Marketing Assistant to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a family-owned business with an extensive background as a reputable contractor. The Junior Marketing Assistant will play a key part in the development and presence of the future business, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

About the role of Junior Marketing Assistant

This regional contractor traditionally specializes in luxury high-end residential projects, education, health & industrial new builds, refurbishments & extensions valuing up to £6.5M across Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex, and Surrey for private and framework clients. The role will oversee the development and merger of bringing their marketing in-house.

Responsibilities for Junior Marketing Assistant

• Create and plan a marketing strategy including key business milestones, events & projects.
• Increase company following and presence across social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook & Instagram.
• Create newsletters for the company website, internal staff, and clients.
• Carry out ad-hoc admin as and when required.

Requirements for Junior Marketing Assistant

• Relevant degree or qualification in Marketing is not imperative but advantageous.
• Previous experience within a similar role with a portfolio to support.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal with an organized approach.
