The Junior Management Accountant will be tasked with ensuring that the management accounts are prepared in an accurate and timely manner. The successful candidate should have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a flair for dealing with financial and numerical data.

Description
Prepare monthly management accounts and report on variances
Preparation and processing of journals including deferred income, accruals and prepayments
Assist in month end reporting
Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Provide support to the Finance team and liaise with other departments
Participate in financial projects and initiatives
Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required
Profile
A successful Junior Management Accountant should have:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience in the preparation of monthly management accounts; must be able to prepare up to journaling at least.
Maintaining relationships with suppliers, liaising to resolve issues in a timely manner
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
The ability to work as part of a team and on individual tasks
Job Offer
An estimated salary range of £33,500 - £36,500 per year
