Junior Maintenance Technician (Mechanical)

£32,000 - £37,000 (£42K OTE) + Training + Progression + Overtime + 34 Days Holiday

Are you a Junior Technician with your NVQ Level 3 qualification or similar looking to kickstart your career in an exciting, varied role with a market-leading Aerospace company looking to invest in your career with training on bespoke plant equipment and plenty of overtime opportunities to significantly boost your earnings?

On offer is the opportunity to join an independent research and development organisation within the aerospace industry, providing aerodynamic consultancy to major aircraft manufacturers globally. They are looking to continue their organic growth having secured further contracts with blue-chip clients.

In this role you will be working alongside a team of mechanical and electrical engineers, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on bespoke plant equipment. You will receive training on the equipment through shadowing to ensure you hit your full potential and become a pivotal part of the team.

This role would suit a Junior Technician with their NVQ Level 3 qualification or similar looking to kickstart their career with a market-leading company, offering training on bespoke plant equipment and plenty of overtime.

The Role:

• PPMs and reactive maintenance on plant equipment
• Working in a team of 12 engineers
• Rotating 2 shift rota: 6:30am - 2:30pm / 2pm - 10pm
• Overtime paid 1.5x weekdays and Saturday, 2x on Sunday

The Person:

• Junior Maintenance Technician
• Mechanical background
• Engineering qualification and / or apprentice trained
