Junior - Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

NECTO Selection are recruiting on behalf of a well-established M&E Contractor with several projects across North and South of Ireland.

With a newly established Commercial Team, they are now seeking to appoint a junior team member to support the Senior QS across all areas of the business with projects in Utilities & Infrastructure, Residential & Commercial, Renewables, and Facilities Management.

Role Overview:

1. Preparing and submitting monthly valuations, track variations and provide adequate substantiation for changes.
2. Manage budgets, present cost reports, and oversee subcontractor payments.
3. Prepare tender packs, assess and compare subcontractor submissions.
4. Monitor site progress, track contractual delay claims, and implement cost control measures.
5. Propose value engineering options and close out final accounts.

Role Requirements:

1. Relevant 3rd level education.
2. 1+ years’ experience in a similar role.
3. IT literate with competency using MS Office.
4. Full driver’s license.
