Role Overview

The Junior Interior Designer will support the Head of Design on a variety of commercial furniture projects, contributing to technical drawings, 3D renders, and material selection. This role involves client interaction, creative problem-solving, and staying at the forefront of emerging trends in interior design.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist the Head of Design on diverse commercial design projects.
2. Collaborate with clients to assess project costs and technical requirements.
3. Prepare detailed technical drawings, 3D renders, and presentation boards.
4. Support in the selection of finishes, materials, and FF&E.
5. Research and implement emerging design trends and techniques.
6. Engage in product modelling and perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Degree in interior design with experience in commercial interior projects.
2. Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, and rendering tools (e.g., Vectorworks, Blender, or Twinmotion).
3. Strong conceptual design and presentation skills.
4. Sketching ability is an advantage.
5. Highly organised with the ability to multitask effectively.
6. A collaborative, team-focused attitude and a creative mindset.
