Junior Graphic Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Design team based in the London Head Office. This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or someone seeking an entry-level position in the field of graphic design. The successful candidate will be well-organized, proactive, and eager to learn and refine their technical skills within an in-house design environment.

This role will sit within the Brand & Content team, reporting to the Mid-Weight Graphic Designer.

Responsibilities

1. Responding to newsletter briefs from our CRM team and creating assets in Photoshop.
2. Collaborating on designing social posts across various brand channels.
3. Designing Paid Marketing assets for our Ads team.
4. Creating assets to assist our Wholesale team.
5. Supporting the Design team during busy periods, such as our quarterly Lookbooks.
6. Assisting the Brand & Content Team with a variety of briefs and daily ad-hoc tasks.

Experience and Skills

1. A degree or diploma in Graphic Design.
2. A portfolio showcasing a strong eye for layout, visual cohesion, and an understanding of typography.
3. Confident communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
4. A proactive and organised approach to tasks.
5. A willingness to learn about the industry, our brand, and our processes.
6. Experience working in Photoshop and InDesign is essential.
7. A love of fashion and Varley as a brand.
8. Ability to manage time effectively.
