Duration: 3-month FTC for a project, with a hybrid working pattern (4/1 in office/remote)

Kernel is a dynamic and innovative recruitment group, with four offices in key global financial hubs. We are currently undergoing a large ‘rebrand the old and create the new’ process and are looking for a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join us on a three-month project to mastermind this.

Job description

I am looking for a detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join the Marketing team and bring all our new brand design elements into our collateral for our recruitment brands (Catalyst Partners, Dartmouth Partners and Pure Search) and our Classroom to Boardroom Foundation. This role involves creating and developing brand new collateral and converting existing InDesign files into Canva.

Key responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the Marketing team to understand and implement the new branding guidelines
  2. Design and create new marketing collateral for digital, social and website
  3. Convert existing InDesign files into Canva, ensuring consistency across the Group
  4. Assist in the development of visual content for our global brands and the Classroom to Boardroom Foundation
  5. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
  2. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canva
  3. Strong communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback
  4. Strong understanding of design principles
  5. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. A portfolio showcasing your design skills and previous work
