A specialist engineering and environmental consultancy based in Milton Keynes is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Geotechnical Engineer. The position provides dedicated support and specialist training from a consultancy with over 20 years in the industry, allowing graduates to apply their educational knowledge to a career.

This Junior Geotechnical Engineer position requires candidates to apply their university knowledge to a variety of geotechnical and geo-environmental projects around the UK. You'll be carrying out ground investigations, writing factual and interpretive reports, soil logging, ground water and gas monitoring, and preparing soil samples - all alongside excellent support from senior members of the team.

The Junior Geotechnical Engineer selected will have:

1. A degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or another relevant subject (Master's preferable).
2. A full and clean UK driving licence.
3. A full right to work in the UK.
4. Be commutable to the Milton Keynes area.
5. Experience in geotechnical engineering or geology is not essential but preferable.
