Job Title: Junior Front-End Web Developer

Location: Redditch (Hybrid)

Salary: £28,000-£30,000 per annum

Are you a Junior Front-End Web Developer looking to join an established development team? Our client is working to create engaging, responsive web applications, optimize for speed and SEO, and enhance user experiences, and is looking for their next team member.

This role combines technical expertise with creativity and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, maintain, and improve customer-facing website templates and back-end systems
2. Design and build responsive email templates
3. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to enhance website functionality and aesthetics
4. Optimize web pages for SEO and Web Performance Optimization (WPO)
5. Implement interactive JavaScript features
6. Optimize images for web and email use
7. Support SEO with basic web copywriting

Key Skills:

1. Front-End Development: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS (Responsive Design, UIKit, Bootstrap), AJAX
2. Email Design: Experience designing and building email templates
3. Version Control: GIT
4. Testing & Debugging: Strong troubleshooting skills
5. Image Manipulation: Optimize images for web and email
