As a Junior FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst, you will support the FP&A Manager at SecureCloud+, working closely with the business to provide strategic financial insights, drive decision-making, and support long-term financial planning. Your role will be crucial in supporting growth strategies and ensuring financial efficiency.
Key responsibilities for this role may include:
Strategic Business Partner
- Assist in preparing accurate and timely reports on relevant metrics by function (weekly, monthly, year-to-date).
- Support the FP&A Manager in collaborating with department heads, senior management, and operational teams to ensure financial alignment with business objectives.
- Gather and analyse financial and operational data to highlight trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Assist in preparing reports and dashboards to support leadership in making informed decisions.
Revenue Lifecycle Management
- Assist in the budgeting and variance analysis processes.
- Support the management of the revenue lifecycle, including revenue to cost of sales, operations, and service.
- Monitor the sales pipeline and assist in reporting insights and recommendations.
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Support the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
- Support in developing and maintaining financial models to predict future performance and assess potential risks.
- Assist in scenario planning for growth strategies, investment decisions, and potential market shifts.
- Support all functions with model development to ensure efficient and accurate data analysis and reporting across SC+.
- Collaborate with Commercial Services to support pricing activities, ensuring alignment with revenue and margin targets to drive profitability and sustainable growth.
Data Control & Reporting Ownership
- Maintain and update data sources across all functions.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in all approved reporting, including for customers.
Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting structures.
- Assist in implementing automation and system improvements for better financial data management.
As a Junior FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst, you will have:
- Working towards professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferable.
- Some experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, and accounting/FP&A software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills - comfortable influencing at various levels.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
