Junior Financial Analyst

Job description

We are looking for an articulate and ambitious Controlling Analyst to join a global confectionery business, to play a key role in shaping the future of the Premium Chocolate category. You will be involved in both traditional controlling activities, as well as getting involved in the financial planning and analytics to define targets for the category.

Success in this role will require excellent communication and reporting skills as you will have the opportunity to work with senior stakeholders across the business. The ideal person will have advanced analytical skills and ability to utilise tools such as Power BI or Power Query.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in the planning process and aid business decision making for planning, budgeting.
• Analyse the financial results of the category and identifying areas for improvement.
• Support planning and control efforts by challenging functions to meet their targets.
• Monitor the outcomes of planned initiatives to assess results and return on investments.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role within FMCG or Consumer Products.
• Understanding of P&L and Balance Sheets.
• Advanced user of Excel and Power BI or Power Query.
• Analytically minded and an ambitious attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
