The Role

As a member of the five-person Group Reporting team, the Junior Financial Accountant is responsible for supporting the delivery of accurate financial reporting for the Clermont Hotel Group, covering 16 hotels and over £1bn of assets.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated results
2. Drafting and reviewing financial statements
3. Process period end journals and manage central and hotel reconciliations
4. Management of capital expenditure review and approval process
5. Ownership of accounting for Group payroll
6. Assist on external audit and statutory reporting
7. Build relationships with the individual hotel financial controllers
8. Ensure Group Accounting Policy is adhered to
9. Support implementation of, and compliance with, robust financial controls
10. Support on ad hoc technical accounting and project work as required
