Junior Finance Analyst – 12-month Fixed Term Contract

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Finance Analyst to join our ApotheCom team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Drawn together from several backgrounds including the pharmaceutical industry, research, marketing, medical and regulatory writing, sales, publishing, digital media and design, we have the experience and all-round ability to conceive and deliver the best quality medical communications programmes.

About the role

The Junior Finance Analyst will play a crucial role in reconciliation and closure of projects globally. This individual will work collaboratively with the Global Finance and Client Services teams to ensure projects are closed timely and accurately. There will also be additional tasks such as time entry and intercompany reconciliation as required.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Global Finance team to ensure that the company is achieving project profitability and billability through the provision of financial information and the financial management of client projects.
  • Assisting with managing and tracking the financials of projects to pass onto client teams for management accounting and forecasting purposes.
  • Assisting with project reconciliations, ensuring the accounting system is updated and maintained with project budget updates through to project closure.
  • Entering time into financial systems.
  • Assisting with intercompany reconciliations as required.

About you:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience within a Finance department, with previous transactional accounting experience.
  • General knowledge of accounting software/systems.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Demonstrable attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience of developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Strong team working skills, combined with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities to meet specified deadlines.
