The Role
As a Junior Estimator, you will work closely with the Estimating Director and Senior Estimator, learning the full tendering process and playing a key role in pricing projects between £5-10 million. You will receive structured training and mentorship, developing the technical skills and commercial awareness needed to grow within the role.

Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Assisting with tender preparation, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing
  2. Reviewing project specifications and drawings, helping to assess material, labour, and subcontractor costs
  3. Carrying out quantity take-offs, learning how to measure and price different project elements
  4. Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, gathering quotes and negotiating pricing
  5. Supporting in value engineering and risk assessment, ensuring tenders are commercially viable
  6. Contributing to bid documentation and contract negotiations

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is eager to develop a long-term career in estimating. Whether you are a recent graduate, have some experience within construction, or have worked in a related role such as quantity surveying, this opportunity will provide full training and support to help you succeed.
